Description
Unsafe OpenSSL initialization within some AMD optional tools may allow a local user-privileged attacker to inject a malicious DLL, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
A vulnerability exists in some optional AMD tools due to unsafe OpenSSL initialization. The OpenSSL configuration file path is set to a default location writable by non-administrative users on Windows. This flaw enables a local user-privileged attacker to inject a malicious DLL, which could be executed with SYSTEM privileges, leading to arbitrary code execution.
