Description
Dimension versions 4.1.4 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability when parsing a crafted file, which could result in a read past the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds read has been identified in Adobe Dimension versions 4.1.4 and earlier. This vulnerability arises when the application parses a crafted file, potentially leading to reading beyond the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker could exploit this issue to execute code in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as the victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update Adobe Dimension to version 4.1.5. For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Admin Console to deploy Creative Cloud applications to end users.
