Description
The Service Finder Bookings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in all versions up to, and including, 6.0. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to processing a password change request. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber access or higher to reset other users' passwords, including those of admins.
A privilege escalation vulnerability has been identified in the Service Finder Bookings plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 6.0. The issue arises from the plugin's failure to properly validate a user's identity before processing password change requests. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with subscriber access or higher to reset passwords for other users, including administrators.
Users are advised to update the Service Finder Bookings plugin to version 6.1 or a newer patched version.
