Description
Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in XBox Gaming Services allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
A vulnerability allowing improper link resolution before file access has been identified in Xbox Gaming Services. This issue enables an authorized attacker to locally elevate privileges. The vulnerability arises from inadequate handling of file links, which could be exploited to gain unauthorized access to elevated rights on the system.
