Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Themepoints Carousel Ultimate carousel allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Carousel Ultimate: from n/a through <= 1.8.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress Carousel Ultimate plugin, affecting versions through 1.8. This issue arises from improper input sanitization during web page generation, allowing malicious scripts to be injected and executed when users visit the affected site.
Users are advised to remove and replace the Carousel Ultimate plugin, as it is likely abandoned and will not receive further updates or fixes.
