Description
The VG WORT METIS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the gutenberg_save_post() function in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update limited post settings.
A vulnerability exists in the VG WORT METIS plugin for WordPress, all versions through 2.0.0, allowing unauthorized data modification. This issue arises from a lack of capability checks in the 'gutenberg_save_post()' function, enabling authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to alter certain post settings.
No known patch is available. It is recommended to uninstall the affected plugin and consider a replacement.
