Description
Explorance Blue versions prior to 8.14.13 contain an authenticated remote file download vulnerability in a web service component. In default configurations, this flaw can be leveraged to achieve remote code execution.
A remote file download vulnerability has been identified in Explorance Blue versions prior to 8.14.13. This vulnerability exists in a web service component and requires authentication to exploit. In default configurations, it can be leveraged to achieve remote code execution. The issue arises because the application allows users to specify remote files to download and save on the server, without adequate validation. An attacker could exploit this to upload malicious executables, which could then be executed on the server.
Users are advised to upgrade to Explorance Blue version 8.14.13 or later.
