Description
A weak authentication vulnerability has been reported to affect File Station 5. The remote attackers can then exploit the vulnerability to gain sensitive information. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: File Station 5 5.5.6.5166 and later
A weak authentication vulnerability has been identified in QNAP File Station 5, specifically in versions 5.5.x. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to exploit the weak authentication mechanism to gain access to sensitive information.
Users are advised to update QNAP File Station 5 to version 5.5.6.5190 or later. Instructions for updating the application are available on the QNAP website.
