Description
An allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability has been reported to affect Qsync Central. If a remote attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to prevent other systems, applications, or processes from accessing the same type of resource. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: Qsync Central 5.0.0.4 ( 2026/01/20 ) and later
A vulnerability in Qsync Central versions 5.0.x has been identified, allowing remote attackers with user account access to exploit uncontrolled resource consumption. This exploitation can lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing disruptions in service or application performance.
Users are advised to update Qsync Central to version 5.0.0.4 or later. Instructions for updating Qsync Central are available on the QNAP website.
