Description
Out-of-bounds read in Windows Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds read has been identified in the Windows Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS). This issue could enable an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over the network, potentially allowing access to portions of heap memory.
Users can apply the security update KB5066586 to address this vulnerability. This update is available through the Microsoft Update Catalog. For Windows Server 2025, the security update is KB5066835. Windows 11 users can download the update via KB5066835 for both ARM64 and x64-based systems. Windows 10 users can find the update through KB5066791 for 32-bit, x64-based, and ARM64-based systems. For Windows Server 2022, the security update is KB5066782.
