Description
The WpEvently plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via multiple parameters in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WpEvently plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 4.4.2. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into pages. These scripts are executed when users access the affected pages.
Users can update to WpEvently version 4.4.3 or a newer patched version to address this vulnerability.
