Description
Use after free in Windows BitLocker allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in Windows BitLocker, allowing an authorized attacker to locally elevate privileges. This vulnerability affects multiple Windows 10 and Windows 11 versions, as well as Windows Server 2012, 2019, and 2025. The vulnerability arises from a use-after-free memory management issue, which can be exploited to gain unauthorized access to elevated privileges, potentially allowing an attacker to execute actions or commands with higher system rights.
