Description
External control of file name or path in Windows Security App allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing locally.
A spoofing vulnerability has been identified in the Windows Security App, allowing an authorized attacker to externally control file names or paths and perform spoofing locally. This vulnerability affects several different versions of the Windows Security App.
Users can apply the official security update available through the Microsoft Update Catalog to address this vulnerability.
