Description
Jenkins Credentials Binding Plugin 687.v619cb_15e923f and earlier does not properly mask (i.e., replace with asterisks) credentials present in exception error messages that are written to the build log.
A vulnerability exists in the Jenkins Credentials Binding Plugin, specifically in versions through 687.v619cb_15e923f, where credentials are not properly masked in exception error messages logged during builds. This oversight allows sensitive information to be exposed in plain text within the build log.
Users of the Jenkins Credentials Binding Plugin should update to version 687.689.v1a_f775332fc9, which addresses the credential masking issue by properly obscuring sensitive information in error messages.
