Description
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 138 and Thunderbird 138. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 139 and Thunderbird 139.
A vulnerability exists in Firefox and Thunderbird versions prior to 139, stemming from memory safety bugs that showed signs of memory corruption. These bugs could potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
Users can upgrade to Firefox or Thunderbird version 139 to address this vulnerability.
