Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Webilop User Language Switch user-language-switch allows Reflected XSS.This issue affects User Language Switch: from n/a through <= 1.6.10.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress User Language Switch plugin, affecting versions through 1.6.10. This issue arises from improper input sanitization during web page generation, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts that are executed when users visit the affected site.
Users are advised to deactivate the plugin and consider replacing it with an alternative, as it is likely abandoned and will not receive further updates or fixes. A virtual patch is available through Patchstack to mitigate the vulnerability until an official fix can be applied.
