Description
In multiple functions of AppOpsControllerImpl.java, there is a possible way to record audio without displaying the privacy indicator due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation.
A vulnerability has been identified in the AppOpsControllerImpl.java file, allowing audio recording without showing the privacy indicator. This issue arises from a race condition and could lead to local privilege escalation. Exploitation requires user interaction.
Users can update their devices to the September 2025 security patch level to address this vulnerability.
