Description
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Tahoe 26.1. An app may be able to access protected user data.
A permissions vulnerability has been identified in macOS Tahoe, specifically in versions prior to 26.1. This issue allows applications to access protected user data without proper authorization. The vulnerability arises from insufficient validation of symlinks and other directory path handling issues, which can be exploited to bypass privacy restrictions and access sensitive information.
Users can upgrade to macOS Tahoe 26.1 to address this vulnerability.
