Description
Incorrect access control in Proximus b-box v8c.725A allows authenticated attackers to bypass normal restrictions and make arbitrary changes to port forwarding rules.
A vulnerability in the Proximus b-box router model, specifically in the version 8c.725A firmware, has been identified. This issue arises from incorrect access control in the router's Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) implementation, allowing authenticated attackers to bypass normal restrictions and make arbitrary changes to port forwarding rules. Exploitation of this vulnerability enables unauthorized port mappings that cannot be permanently removed through the router's web interface, creating a persistent risk of unauthorized network exposure.
