Description
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.3, macOS Tahoe 26.2. An app may be able to gain root privileges.
A vulnerability in the StorageKit component of Apple macOS Sequoia allows an application to gain root privileges. This issue arises from a permissions flaw that has been addressed with additional restrictions. The vulnerability is present in macOS Sequoia versions prior to 15.7.3.
Users can update to macOS Sequoia 15.7.3 to address this vulnerability.
