Description
This vulnerability exists in Meon KYC solutions due to missing restrictions on the number of incorrect One-Time Password (OTP) attempts through certain API endpoints of login process. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by performing a brute force attack on OTP, which could lead to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts.
A vulnerability in Meon KYC solutions, specifically in version 1.1, allows remote attackers to perform brute force attacks on One-Time Password (OTP) verifications. This issue arises from the absence of restrictions on the number of incorrect OTP attempts through certain API endpoints during the login process. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to user accounts.
Users are advised to upgrade Meon KYC Solutions to version 1.2.
