Description
While editing pages managed by MegaBIP a user with high privileges is prompted to give a reasoning for performing this action. Input provided by the the user is not sanitized, leading to SQL Injection vulnerability. Version 5.20 of MegaBIP fixes this issue.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in MegaBIP versions prior to 5.20. This issue arises when users with high privileges edit pages within the application. During this process, they are required to provide a justification for their actions. However, the input is not properly sanitized, allowing for the injection of malicious SQL commands.
Users are advised to update to MegaBIP version 5.20, which addresses this vulnerability. Instructions for updating are available on the MegaBIP website.
