Description
A vulnerability in the web management interface of the AOS-CX OS user authentication service could allow an authenticated remote attacker to hijack an active user session. Successful exploitation may enable the attacker to maintain unauthorized access to the session, potentially leading to the view or modification of sensitive configuration data.
A vulnerability exists in the web management interface of the AOS-CX operating system's user authentication service, allowing an authenticated remote attacker to hijack an active user session. This exploitation could enable unauthorized access to the session, potentially leading to the viewing or modification of sensitive configuration data. The vulnerability affects HPE Aruba Networking AOS-CX software versions 10.16.1000 and below, 10.15.1020 and below, 10.14.1050 and below, 10.13.1090 and below, and 10.10.1160 and below.
Users are advised to upgrade to AOS-CX 10.16.1001 and above, 10.15.1030 and above, 10.14.1060 and above, 10.13.1101 and above, or 10.10.1170 and above. These versions can be downloaded from the HPE Networking Support Portal.
