Description
In aoc_service_read_message of aoc_ipc_core.c, there is a possible out of bounds read due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A vulnerability allowing elevation of privilege has been identified in the AOC component of Google Pixel devices. This issue arises from a possible out-of-bounds read in the 'aoc_service_read_message' function, located in 'aoc_ipc_core.c', due to inadequate input validation. Exploitation of this vulnerability requires system execution privileges, but does not need user interaction.
Users can update their devices to the December 2025 security patch level to address this vulnerability.
