Description
The Simple Lightbox WordPress plugin before 2.9.4 does not validate and escape some of its attributes before outputting them back in a page/post, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Simple Lightbox WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 2.9.4. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly validate and escape certain attributes before displaying them on a page or post. This flaw enables users with contributor roles and above to execute stored cross-site scripting attacks.
