Description
Improper Control of Filename for Include/Require Statement in PHP Program ('PHP Remote File Inclusion') vulnerability in FantasticPlugins SUMO Reward Points rewardsystem allows PHP Local File Inclusion.This issue affects SUMO Reward Points: from n/a through <= 30.7.0.
A local file inclusion vulnerability has been identified in the FantasticPlugins SUMO Reward Points WordPress plugin, affecting versions through 30.7.0. This vulnerability arises from improper control of filenames in include or require statements, allowing PHP remote file inclusion that could be exploited locally.
Users are advised to update to a version of the SUMO Reward Points plugin that is later than 30.7.0. For those using WordPress, Patchstack offers a virtual patch that can be applied immediately to mitigate this vulnerability.
