Description
An Heap-based Buffer Overflow in RT-Labs P-Net version 1.0.1 or earlier allows an attacker to induce a crash in IO devices that use the library by sending a malicious RPC packet.
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in RT-Labs P-Net versions prior to 1.0.2. This vulnerability allows an attacker to cause a crash in IO devices that utilize the P-Net library by sending a malicious RPC packet.
Users are advised to update to RT-Labs P-Net version 1.0.2.
