Description
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in PyTorch 2.6.0. This issue affects the function torch.cuda.memory.caching_allocator_delete of the file c10/cuda/CUDACachingAllocator.cpp. The manipulation leads to memory corruption. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A memory corruption vulnerability has been identified in PyTorch version 2.6.0. The issue arises in the CUDACachingAllocator component, specifically within the torch.cuda.memory.caching_allocator_delete function. This vulnerability allows for local memory corruption, as the 'editid' parameter in the changeimage.php file is susceptible to SQL injection, enabling attackers to manipulate SQL queries and perform unauthorized operations. The vulnerability has been publicly disclosed and could be exploited.
Users are advised to update to a patched version of PyTorch that addresses this vulnerability.
