Description
This vulnerability exists in the CAP back office application due to missing rate limiting on OTP requests in an API endpoint. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending multiple OTP request through vulnerable API endpoint which could lead to the OTP bombing/flooding on the targeted system.
A vulnerability exists in the Rising Technosoft CAP back office application, all versions prior to 2.0.4, due to the absence of rate limiting on One-Time Password (OTP) requests in a specific API endpoint. This flaw allows authenticated remote attackers to send multiple OTP requests through the vulnerable endpoint, potentially leading to OTP bombing or flooding on the targeted system.
Users are advised to upgrade the Rising Technosoft CAP back office application to version 2.0.4 or later.
