Description
An unchecked return value within the AMD Platform Management Framework (PMF) could allow an attacker to write to an arbitrary memory address resulting in denial of service or arbitrary code execution.
A vulnerability exists in the AMD Platform Management Framework (PMF) due to an unchecked return value. This flaw could enable an attacker to write to an arbitrary memory address, potentially causing a denial-of-service condition or allowing arbitrary code execution.
Users are advised to update to the AMD Ryzen Chipset Driver version 7.06.02.123, available through the AMD Driver Update Utility.
