Description
Incorrect default permissions in Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
A vulnerability allowing local privilege escalation has been identified in Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) for Mac, version 4.78. This issue arises from incorrect default permissions, which could be exploited by an authorized attacker to gain elevated privileges on the affected system.
