Description
An issue in petstore v.1.0.7 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the DELETE endpoint
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Swagger Petstore version 1.0.7. This issue arises from improper access control in the DELETE endpoint for pets. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending DELETE requests with forged API keys, bypassing authentication to delete arbitrary pet records. The flaw allows for automated deletion of multiple records, leading to data loss and potential disruption of services.
