Description
A SQL injection vulnerability in the "Search" functionality of "tickets.php" page in osTicket <=1.17.5 allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the "keywords" and "topic_id" URL parameters combination.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in osTicket versions through 1.17.5, specifically within the 'Search' feature on the 'tickets.php' page. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands by manipulating the 'keywords' and 'topic_id' URL parameters. The issue arises from the application's custom Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) system, which improperly handles parameter substitution in SQL queries, creating an opportunity for SQL injection attacks.
