Description
WorkOS Hosted AuthKit before 2025-01-07 allows a password authentication MFA bypass (by enrolling a new authentication factor) when the attacker knows the user's password. No exploitation occurred.
A vulnerability in WorkOS Hosted AuthKit prior to January 7, 2025, allows for a password authentication multi-factor authentication (MFA) bypass. This issue arises when an attacker, knowing the user's password, enrolls a new authentication factor, thereby circumventing the MFA process. The vulnerability affects users with password authentication and MFA enabled.
This vulnerability has been fixed in WorkOS Hosted AuthKit versions released on or after January 7, 2025. Users should update to the latest version.
