Description
WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the home.php endpoint of the WeGIA application. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious scripts in the msg_c parameter. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.8.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WeGIA application, specifically within the home.php endpoint. This issue allows attackers to inject malicious scripts through the msg_c parameter. The vulnerability arises from inadequate validation and sanitization of user inputs, enabling the injection of harmful payloads that are executed in the context of the user's browser. This vulnerability affects WeGIA versions prior to 3.2.7 and has been patched in version 3.2.8.
Users can upgrade to WeGIA version 3.2.8 to address this vulnerability.
