Description
Insecure inherited permissions for some Intel(R) Simics(R) Package Manager software before version 1.12.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in Intel Simics Package Manager software prior to version 1.12.0. The issue arises from insecure inherited permissions, which may allow an authenticated user to disrupt service via local access.
Users are advised to update Intel Simics Package Manager software to version 1.12.0 or later. The update is available for download from the Intel LEM Center.
