Description
In multiple locations, there is a possible method for a malicious app to prevent dialing emergency services under limited circumstances due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local denial of service until the phone reboots with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A logic error in the Android Framework allows a malicious app to interfere with emergency calls under certain conditions. This vulnerability can cause a local denial-of-service, preventing calls to emergency services until the device is rebooted. No additional privileges are required for exploitation, and user interaction is not necessary.
Devices can be updated to the April 2025 security patch level to address this vulnerability.
