Description
The authenticated SCU firmware command of the firmware for Mennekes Smart / Premium Chargingpoints can be abused for command execution because OS commands are improperly neutralized when certain fields are passed to the underlying OS.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the SCU firmware update interface of Mennekes Smart and Premium charging stations, specifically in versions prior to 2.15. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands by exploiting improper neutralization of command elements in certain fields.
Users are advised to update the firmware to version 2.15 or later. The latest firmware can be downloaded from the Mennekes Software Updates page.
