Description
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Felipe Peixoto Powerful Auto Chat powers-triggers-of-woo-to-chat allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Powerful Auto Chat: from n/a through <= 1.9.8.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress Powerful Auto Chat plugin, affecting versions through 1.9.8. This vulnerability arises from improper input sanitization during web page generation, allowing malicious scripts to be injected and executed when users visit the affected site.
Users of the Powerful Auto Chat WordPress plugin are advised to update to the latest version. For those unable to update immediately, Patchstack offers a virtual patch that can be applied to mitigate this vulnerability.
