Description
Memory corruption while copying the result to the transmission queue which is shared between the virtual machine and the host.
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the data network stack and connectivity component of Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. This vulnerability arises from memory corruption during the copying of data packets to a transmission queue shared between the virtual machine and the host. The issue affects several chipsets within the Snapdragon 8, 7, and 6 series, as well as various platforms and modems.
Qualcomm has released patches for this vulnerability. Instructions for applying the patch can be found in the Qualcomm July 2025 Security Bulletin.
