Description
DHCP Client Service Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
A remote code execution vulnerability has been identified in the DHCP Client Service on Windows Server 2025, Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based and ARM64-based Systems, and Windows Server 2025 (Server Core installation). This vulnerability arises from a use-after-free error, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely.
Users can apply the security update KB5051987 to address this vulnerability. This update is available through the Microsoft Update Catalog.
