Description
In DA, there is a possible permission bypass due to a logic error. This could lead to local escalation of privilege, if an attacker has physical access to the device, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. A permission bypass vulnerability has been identified in the DA component of MediaTek chipsets, stemming from a logic error that creates a possible out-of-bounds write. This vulnerability could lead to local escalation of privileges, but requires physical access to the device.
