Description
Uncontrolled search path for the Intel(R) Trace Analyzer and Collector software all verions may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
A vulnerability exists in Intel Trace Analyzer and Collector software, all versions, due to an uncontrolled search path. This flaw may enable an authenticated user to escalate privileges through local access. Intel has issued a Product Discontinuation Notice for this software, indicating that it will no longer receive functional or security updates.
Users are advised to uninstall Intel Trace Analyzer and Collector software or discontinue its use as soon as possible.
