Description
An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 136, Firefox ESR 128.8, Thunderbird 136, and Thunderbird 128.8.
A vulnerability allowing potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access has been identified in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. This issue arises from an inconsistent comparator in the XSLT node sorting process, which could lead to memory access violations. The vulnerability affects Firefox versions prior to 136, Firefox ESR versions prior to 128.8, and Thunderbird versions prior to 136 and 128.8.
Users can upgrade to Firefox 136, Firefox ESR 128.8, or Thunderbird 136 or 128.8 to address this vulnerability.
