Description
The CSS & JavaScript Toolbox plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's cjtoolbox shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 12.0.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the CSS & JavaScript Toolbox plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 12.0.6. The vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the plugin's cjtoolbox shortcode. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which are executed when users access the affected page.
Users are advised to update the CSS & JavaScript Toolbox plugin to version 12.0.7 or later.
