Description
The Upcoming for Calendly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.4. This is due to missing nonce validation on the settings update functionality. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the plugin's Calendly API key via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Upcoming for Calendly WordPress plugin, affecting all versions through 1.2.4. The issue arises from a lack of nonce validation in the settings update process, allowing unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the plugin's Calendly API key. Exploitation requires tricking a site administrator into clicking a link that initiates the forged request.
Users can update to version 1.2.5 or a newer patched version to address this vulnerability.
