Description
The Simcast plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.0. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the settingsPage function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify plugin settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Simcast plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.0.0. The issue arises from inadequate nonce validation in the 'settingsPage' function, allowing unauthenticated attackers to alter plugin settings by sending a forged request, provided they can persuade a site administrator to click a link or perform a similar action.
