Description
The Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to multiple Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerabilities via DOM manipulation in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin, affecting all versions through 2.0.2. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the compromised page.
Users are advised to update the Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin to version 2.0.3 or a newer patched version.
