Description
The Logo Slider WordPress plugin before 4.9.0 does not validate and escape some of its slider options before outputting them back in the dashboard, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Logo Slider WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 4.9.0. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly validate and escape certain slider options before displaying them in the dashboard. This flaw enables users with contributor roles and above to inject malicious scripts that are executed when the content is viewed.
Users are advised to update the Logo Slider WordPress plugin to version 4.9.0 or later.
