CVE-2025-13027 Details
Description
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 144 and Thunderbird 144. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 145 and Thunderbird 145.
A vulnerability exists in Firefox versions prior to 145 and Thunderbird versions prior to 145, related to memory safety. Some of these memory safety issues indicated potential memory corruption, which could have been exploited to execute arbitrary code with sufficient effort.
Users can upgrade to Firefox 145 or Thunderbird 145 to address this vulnerability.
